Civil Construction / Infrastructure / Stimulus Funded Projects

In addition to the environmental services HCR provides, many clients call on HCR to perform civil construction services at contaminated sites. Examples of these include road widening, storm sewer, and demolition projects where HCR utilizes its experience to complete portions of projects located in contaminated areas.

The much talked about American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 – The Stimulus Bill – has made billions of dollars available for many programs throughout the country. HCR stands readily available to manage the environmental components for many of these projects.

HCR has installed concrete reinforced pipe, drainage manholes, headwalls, and performed many other project needs. Many of these projects required well point dewatering, treatment of dewatered effluent, screening of excavated soil, transportation and disposal of contaminated soil as well as completion of civil construction requirements including sheet piling, management of traffic, surveying, and erosion and sediment control. HCR has developed an extensive network of proven subcontractors, if needed, to support meeting the requirements of our clients
