Site Description
Former industrial site initially developed as an incendiary bomb and metal powder manufacturing company. Post WWII became custom cloth coating operation and various other industrial/commercial operations.

Eighteen private wells have been impacted in area surrounding the site. Indoor air contamination in several area residences

July: Collected round of groundwater samples to determine present distribution of PCE/TCE in bedrock acquifier

August: Perform dual phase extraction tests on existing monitor wells exhibiting highest PCE concentrations to properly size groundwater pumping and soil/bedrock vapor extraction system

September to October: Install bedrock wells for remedial testing

September, Start-up Phase 1: Temporary Remediation System consisting of 300 cfm SVE system connected to 9 Vapor Extraction wells. The off-gas was treated by Vapor Phase Carbon

November, Start-up Phase 2: Temporary Remediation System consisting of 1000 cfm SVE system connected to 18 Vapor Extraction wells. The off-gas is treated by Vapor Phase Carbon
