This wastewater treatment plant was discontinuing it’s waste-to-energy process and wanted to have their thickened waste activated sludge dewatered dry enough to send for composting. The total volume that Handex was asked to dewater was up to 80k gallons per day.
Handex brought in a 21” bowl, tri canter, 3 phase , skid mounted centrifuge. Our engineers worked on permitting for electrical and also dug trenches to run electrical underground.
Handex has been successfully processing these biosolids 12 hours per day 6 days per week for over a year now and have been asked to continue to do so for two more years at a minimum.
