Handex’s expertise in dredging and dewatering was needed in one of the first PFAS privately funded clean up project at a WWTP in the state of Alabama. Handex was subcontracted to dredge a 4 acre bio-solids lagoon with contaminated PFAS and lots of overgrown vegetation. The dredged waste was then processed by two 21” bowl skid mounted centrifuges owned by Handex. This project was approximately 75 days.
