William Kramer, PG

Project Manager

William Kramer is a project manager with Handex. As a project manager for Handex, William is responsible for assisting Handex’s Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in developing work plans and closure strategies for New Jersey sites.

William has over 30 years in the environmental industry. He has extensive experience in project management and hydrogeology including the management of a portfolio of 64 sites for major oil companies. His experience includes project budgets, vendor relations, developing remedial and compliance strategies for bulk storage facilities and gasoline retail sites, groundwater data evaluation, underground storage tank (UST) system testing, conducting training courses in Risk Based Corrective Action (RBCA) and standard operating procedures, conducting remedial testing including air sparging, soil vapor extraction and biodegradation, proposal development, and cost estimating. William developed boilerplate Natural Remediation Remedial Action Workplan, standardized intrinsic bioremediation field procedures, fate and transport backup documentation and modeling capability, and a quality improvement program following Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.

William has a Bachelor of Arts in Earth Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Arts in Geological Sciences from State University of New York and a Master of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a Registered Professional Geologist in Pennsylvania and an ASTM Certified RBCA trainer.
