Working as an Agency Term Contractor for the FDEP LSA program, Handex performed soil and groundwater assessment activities at an active airside of Tampa International Airport.
Handex performed assessment of liquid and dissolved phase hydrocarbon impacts to the soil and groundwater along fueling lines and hydrants pits. Handex coordinated with airport operations management (AOM) and airport logistics partners to execute the assessment on schedule while minimizing impacts to airport operations.
The findings of the assessment will be integrated into the construction plans for a new terminal building as a part of the TIA Master Plan in 2020.
